Welcome to Miss Schwab's web page!

Required materials for Intro to Foreign Language:

  • black or dark blue pen (or regular pencil counts as black)
  • hardcover 1" 3-ring binder (plastic outer cover preferred)
  • 25-50 clear plastic protector sheets (no color, sealed on bottom--either side or top loading)
  • personal copy of student handbook & planner (distributed first day)
  • paper to write on 8.5" x 11" preferred, no smaller than 10.5" x 8 AFTER spiral fuzzies removed
Required materials for German 1 and German 2:
  • black or dark blue pen (or regular pencil counts as black)
  • hardcover 1" 3-ring binder (plastic outer cover preferred)
  • 20-40 clear plastic protector sheets (no color, sealed on bottom--either side or top loading)
  • personal copy of student handbook & planner (distributed first day)
  • paper to write on 8.5" x 11" preferred, no smaller than 10.5" x 8 AFTER spiral fuzzies removed
  • fairly new (5 years or less) good-sized English-German/German-English dictionary -- no purchase required, one will be provided for checkout to all students who don't own one; however, if you wish to purchase your own, I highly recommend Collins beginner's dictionary (formerly Harper Collins).
  • system for keeping vocabulary lists organized (flash cards is one example)

These notebooks will be graded for meeting the listed requirements, being in good shape, and having all papers in order in the plastic protector sheets.  ALL graded papers which appear in the computer (they had stars by the assignment name) need to be included -- even if you didn't get credit for it.

Intro students, scroll down to find copies of the blank study sheets you can print, as well as some with the Spanish column filled in, so you can copy them onto your study sheets and/or make sure what you've copied is correct.
